We are so fortunate to have found Jan through Redfin; we really lucked out. We are so very grateful for the tremendous help and service provided by Jan and her team during a 5-month process of looking for, bidding on, and finally purchasing our first home. It was grueling at times (as we narrowly and not-so-narrowly missed having our offers accepted on 6 homes) but Jan was simply unflappable and was there for us every step of the way. Her guidance on a wide range of topics was invaluable; for example, she really understands the market and provided excellent guidance on how much to bid. She would not let us make foolish decisions! (while at the same time giving us complete autonomy). Jan was also a delightful person to work with, with a very warm and friendly personality, and we certainly came to call her a friend during the time we worked together. Jan adeptly handled all stages of the process, from getting to know our tastes and showing us potential homes, to a very smooth escrow process in which we were able to close early (although the seller wasn’t).
